Trademarks His Eyebrows
Expected to the number one draft pick Anthony Davis has
decided to Trademark his unique features. He has trademarked two phrases in
reference to his highly peculiar eyebrows.
“Fear the Brow and “Raise the Brow” were terms trademarked by this NBA
draft pick.
In my opinion I
think that this is a very suitable phrase and trait to trademark. Most people would laugh at a uni-brow but
this NBA player is capitalizing on his brow problem. Nest thing you know fans will be drawing on
or trying to grow their own!

photography has brought about a new way to showcase celebrity likeness in a way
it has never been before. New legal
issues may arise to help protect celebrity likeness and exposure via
hologram. Current laws in certain states
protect an artists’ work up to 100 years after their death. The primary focus of the law will be on the
performances of the holograms and weather or not they are protected under the
first Amendment.
In this
particular case I think making legal constraints is pretty tough. Holograms of dead artists could be beneficial
to the fans who miss them. However it’s
tough trying to control this content because it’s technically belongs to
another party under a copyright and or trademark law of some sort. If one is done then this will cause a chain
effect and other dead artist holograms will arise. A law needs to be formed as soon as possible
to illuminate any further issues.

Reeder vs. Kyuss Lives
Band members were fighting over the trademark for Kyuss
Lives. This symbol/phrase was used to represent a
particular band. In this case band
members were separated and lots of animosity is present.
In my opinion
this band was dismantled by greed over a name.
The band had conflicts from the beginning when naming the band. Fans are disappointed with the breaking of
the band it could have easily been settled out of court.
